Babo Botanicals Daily Sheer Tinted Mineral Sunscreen Fluid SPF50
$22 AT AMAZON$25 AT WALMART$16 AT BABOBOTANICALS.COMCREDIT: BABO BOTANICALS
Two words: Babo Botanicals. Okay, maybe more than two. Babo Botanicals Daily Sheer Fluid Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 has been my go-to for a few summers now, and it is the best thing I’ve found to protect my skin from the rays and all the nasty stuff they do, and also smooth out my complexion so I look a bit more together. It’s liquid, not goopy, and lightly tinted (there is a sheer version too) so it coats my skin and I can layer on top of it without feeling like I am caked up with gunk all summer long. I often just wear it alone for a no-makeup-but-better-than-bare skin look. It’s a physical sunscreen (sitting on the surface of your skin, rather than sinking in) and best of all contains no beeswax, which makes my eyes and lips swell. (A lot of folks have this reaction, and beeswax is many sunscreens and other cosmetics!) It’s also affordable—the little container lasts forever. I have olive skin but my BFF, who is pale, also did well with its slightly golden tint. —Stephanie Dolgoff, director, Hearst Health Newsroom

Frankie4 Hunter Sandals
$185 AT FRANKIE4.COMCREDIT: FRANKIE4
It’s officially sandal season, and my recent go-to pair for warm-weather outings has been this super comfy and stylish pick from Australian footwear brand Frankie 4. They’re constructed with a podiatrist-designed footbed that’s moulded with rice husk, which truly feels so soft and cushiony on my feet and offer great support through the heel, arch, and forefoot. I also love the sleek, minimalist design of these sandals, complete with the adjustable, buckled strap at the back for a secure fit. Truly so comfy, and I can’t wait to wear them all summer! —Hannah Jeon, associate commerce editor

Hanni Shave Pillow Moisturizing Body Gel
$24 AT SEPHORA$24 AT HEYHANNI.COMCREDIT: HANNI
Everyone knows dry shaving is not the best idea, but that doesn’t mean we (meaning me) don’t have to do it sometimes. This genius stick is the solution to the painful bumps and nicks that dry shaving can cause. It’s a translucent solid gel that you can glide over dry skin, allowing you to shave without water. I find myself using this often as I’m running out the door now that bare legs are out—it allows for a close, smooth shave and leaves no residue yet softens skin (it can double as a moisturizer). Game-changing! —April Franzino, beauty director

Wet Brush Original Detangler Hair Brush
Now 27% Off
$7 AT AMAZON$11 AT WALMARTCREDIT: WET BRUSH
I used to think it was crazy to have an arsenal of hair brushes but now I get the hype. Using a different brush when you brush wet hair versus blowdrying or styling hair really does make a difference. I’m obsessed with the Wet Brush for my post shower detangling. It glides through hair smoothly and easily and really minimizes hair fallout which can happen a lot if you use the wrong brush. I use the regular one at home and take a mini with me whenever I travel. —Dori Price, contributing beauty editor

ZAP IT! Electric Handheld Bug Zapper
$52 AT AMAZONCREDIT: ZAP IT!
You know what I hate? Bugs. That’s why I love this electric tennis racket, which makes it pretty simple to kill mosquitoes and lanternflies (or really any creepy, crawly creature) I come across—from a safe enough distance. —Trish Clasen Marsanico, deputy food editor

Dae Fairy Duster Volumizing Dry Shampoo Powder
$30 AT SEPHORA$30 AT DAEHAIR.COMCREDIT: DAE
I have fine hair that loses its oomph between washes. A friend introduced me to Dae dry shampoo, and I’m hooked. It lifts at the roots, absorbs excess oil, and generally gives my hair new life. And my favorite part is that it’s a powder not a spray—so you can get really target application and even travel with it. Plus it smells amazing—something many dry shampoos seem to struggle with. —Emily Goldman, deputy editor

ButcherBox Hot Grill Summer Box
$149 AT BUTCHERBOX.COMCREDIT: BUTCHER
I love gifting my Dad a ButcherBox delivery for Father’s Day (or year-round, if I’m being totally honest!). Not only does it allow the child-turned-caretaker in me to know that he has access to a variety of proteins, and in turn, nutrients, I also feel really great about the quality of the meat and seafood that I’m sending him. That’s because whether he’s chefing up chicken wings, pork butt, or shrimp or salmon, each selection is responsibly sourced with both the animal and environment in mind—so that means seafood that’s wild caught, pork that is humanely raised, poultry that’s free-range, and 100% grass-fed beef. This year I’m loving the Hot Grill Box: chicken wings, gulf shrimp, sockeye salmon, boneless pork butt, and steak. Can’t wait to ask Dad to fire up the grill! —Alyssa Jung, senior health editor, fitness + nutrition

WeeStyle WeeFarers Polarized Children’s Sunglasses
$35 AT AMAZONCREDIT: WEESTYLE
At first, I feared my 10-month old would rather eat these adorable shades than wear them, but I made a big deal out of putting my own sunglasses on so we matched and she loves the attention she gets from passersby when she’s got them on. I love that they block 100% of UVA and UVB rays, the frame is flexible and durable for when they inevitably get dropped, and the little silicone strap holds the the sunnies in place comfortably. The company also has a 1-year guarantee if they get misplaced or damaged. —Kaitlyn Phoenix, deputy editor, Health Newsroom
